"Mural me"

I needed a place to blog, so here I am.

I watched the sunset today, from start to finish (which is what inspired the blog title). I want to say it was an average sunset, but can anything about a sunset, seriously be just average? The sun shone brightly through the clear blue sky and clotted clouds. The clouds taking on a dark grey blue color, while just a little pale pink and peach hung in low, as well. I remember back to a summer when I watched the sunset almost everyday for at least 2 months straight. Not a glance, but absolute time and attention given to truely enjoying, what we sometimes take forgranted. The little things. The little things in life, build to make something great, something grand, memorable. Shaping us in ways, we may not notice right away. Though evident, when afterthought and realization settles in.

When I see either the sunrise or sunset, I think one word comes to mind "glorious". Makes you think, makes you realize, makes you sane if only for a moment. There is a quote I know I have used before, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is."-Albert Einstien
I think that is exactly the case. If only we could find a comfortable place inbetween all of that, we may just have it all.

I am at a place were I need a clean slate, it is a new year afterall. To think upon, to dabble with, to create a newly inspired mural, fresh, and vivid. I hope to start that creation, beggining with this blog.

Another thing about me would be my love of quotes. So much can be summed up in just a sentance or two.
"Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your conscious." -Echart Toile

Music can tell so much about a person, though the list of favorite songs can go on forever. A sample of my many favs is here:

  1. Sunsets truly take your breath away and are a reminder of how beautiful simplicity can be when given the chance to flourish within the stillness of you.
